Job Description:
- Manage and maintain Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and equipment.
- Support HVAC, climate control, ventilation, and environmental control systems for indoor farming operations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment and systems, including VPD and microclimate control.
- Monitor irrigation systems, including water piping networks as well as water purification and treatment systems.
- Handle electrical and automation systems, including power distribution, control systems, PLCs, and energy management.
- Support project planning and execution, including contractor supervision, compliance, and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of psychrometrics, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics, particularly as applied to controlled indoor environments.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other MEP/design software.
